NSBE Virtual AccessYou will receive a separate invitation to view the convention virtual content via the Hopin platform. The message will be sent from no-reply@hopin.com, with the subject line: NSBE 48 Annual Convention Hopin Virtual Access. The email will include a link to access Hopin. If you click on a live event, you will have immediate access; however, if the event is not live, you will be brought into a waiting page. If you have technical issues with the platform, please contact support@hopin.com or access the live chat.
We have the following recommendations that will ensure a seamless experience within the Hopin platform:
- Join from a supported browser. We recommend Google Chrome on desktop for the best experience.

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is committed to the health and safety of meeting and event attendees. NSBE leadership will continue to monitor the situation and provide guidance as more information on the extent and severity of the outbreak becomes available. NSBE is using CLEAR to conduct its COVID-19 process. NSBE will adjust its approach as needed to ensure a coordinated effort and a safe experience for convention attendees. *Meetings include national convention, regional conferences, national and regional leadership meetings, invitational leadership conferences and meetings, and designated NSBE business meetings. Effective Date: January 17, 2022.
Travel/Meeting Conduct
- All attendees must be fully vaccinated in accordance with the CDC guidelines.
- Facial coverings must be worn throughout the convention.
Unvaccinated
If you are unable to get the vaccine for Religious & Medical Exemptions, please attend the
convention virtually.
Convention Refund and Cancellation Policy
Substitutions are not allowed.
Cancelations received between February 1 - March 23, 2022, will receive a full credit that can be applied towards a future convention or event. If you do not submit your cancelation by March 23, 2022, and do not attend, no refund or credit will be granted.

The Clear Health Pass
NSBE will use, CLEAR to collect proof of vaccination for convention attendees. CLEAR's free mobile app and Health Pass feature provides a simple and secure way for this information to be shared. Make sure to download the CLEAR app which can be found on Google Play or the Apple App Store.
